Spalted Pecan Pepper Mill

This is an absolutely stunning piece of pecan. The spalting led to wild colors which very, very unusual in wood.

11.5 inches tall

The piece was finished with a water-based acrylic finish to keep the colors neutral. This finish also happens to be the toughest finish I use.
