Camphor Burl Peppermill

It’s very hard to find camphor burl like this. The blank for this mill came from a stash of a famous pipe carver. I learned a lot about pipe carving talking to this gentleman. Honestly, I get a little nervous when I’m working with such a novel and rare piece of wood.
